Acumen & Trust Pension Trustees Limited has been authorised by the Revenue Commissioners to act as trustees for pension schemes, if a company does not wish, or is not in a position to appoint trustees.  The company is an approved pensioneer trustee for small self administered pension schemes. 

The Trustee role is to safeguard the pension scheme assets on behalf of the members so that contributions are correctly paid, monies are professionally invested and benefits are paid when due.

Where a pension scheme has not appointed an investment manager, the trustees of the scheme must also demonstrate to the Pensions Board that that they possess among their membership the appropriate qualifications and experience to assess and advise on investment options and execute the investment decisions in relation to the scheme's resources.
