To facilitate the ongoing expansion and development of Beacon Trust, we are currently recruiting:
Fund Researcher at Beacon Trust Fund Managers Ltd
Role
Analyst whose principal role will be in the selection, and monitoring of funds, for inclusion in an existing Fund of Funds, together with continuous monitoring and reporting (to management and clients) on the overall performance of the Fund of Funds.
The role will also involve an ability to work with and develop models to help support a team of financial consultants and their recommendations across a range of financial products.
Skills
The applicant will need to have the following qualifications / demonstrate the following skills:
- Degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Economics or equivalent work experience. Additional Financial qualifications would be preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, as you will be required to communicate both verbally and written, with external providers.
- Highly proficient at Excel and Word. Database skills would be an advantage. Ability to learn new systems quickly is necessary.
- Ideally, good understanding of Investment Management procedures and the UCITS III framework.

The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Acumen & Trust Ltd, a financial services advisory company established in 1996. Acumen & Trust, which employs 26 people, established Beacon Trust Fund Managers Ltd with the objective of managing client investments in a highly efficient manner.
Beacon Trust Fund Managers Ltd commenced trading in late 2009, and has attracted almost €40m of client funds to date. The objective is to grow funds under management very aggressively.
